Session 5: Committed Action and Behavioral Change

Theme: Turning values into meaningful actions and integrating Islamic practices into daily life.

Objectives:

  1. Guide participants in setting value-based goals.
  2. Encourage integration of Islamic practices like sadaqah, community service, and family obligations.

Outline:

  1. Recap and Welcome (10 minutes)

    • Review values clarification.
    • Share one value-based action participants practiced.
  2. Setting Value-Based Goals (15 minutes)

    • Define meaningful goals linked to personal values.
    • Example: Being kind to family or volunteering regularly.
  3. Islamic Practices and Behavioral Change (20 minutes)

    • Discuss practical ways to incorporate Islamic values into daily life (e.g., sadaqah, salah, Quran recitation).
    • Reflection: What Islamic practice can you incorporate into your routine?
  4. Action Planning (20 minutes)

    • Exercise: Write an action plan for one meaningful goal, including steps and possible obstacles.
  5. Homework Assignment (5 minutes)

    • Implement one small, value-based action this week.
    • Journal your progress and reflections.
  6. Closing and Dua (5 minutes)

    • Summarize session insights.
    • Dua for strength and guidance in achieving meaningful goals.
