This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers the public website only. If you are a client, the information you share in sessions and in the client portal is protected under my Notice of Privacy Practices.
The short version
- I never sell your information.
- I do not use advertising trackers on this site.
- Analytics cookies load only if you choose “Accept.”
- You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Information you give me
- Booking a consultation or appointment. Scheduling is handled by Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email and the time you choose, and shares them with me. Calendly’s own privacy policy also applies.
- Purchases and program sign-ups (when offered). If you buy or sign up for a program or product through this website, I collect what is needed to complete it, such as your name, email and billing details. Any card payment is handled by a secure third-party payment processor; I never see or store your full card number.
- Emails you send me. I use them only to reply to you.
Please do not send private health details through website forms or regular email. If you are a client, use the client portal.
Information collected automatically
With your permission, this site uses Google Analytics to understand, in general terms, how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are visited most). Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as your approximate location, device type and the pages you view. I use it only to improve the website, not for advertising.
Like most websites, the server also keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as a “Decline” for analytics cookies.
How information is shared
I share information only with service providers who help run this website and my practice (such as website hosting, scheduling, payments, email and analytics), and only as needed for them to provide that service. I may also share information if required by law. I do not sell or rent your information, and I do not share it for targeted advertising.
How long information is kept
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Other information is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Where information is stored
This website and its service providers store information in the United States. If you visit from another country, including Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom or the European Union, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask me to tell you what information I hold about you from this website, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for analytics. Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU, the UK or Saudi Arabia), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email aisha@manaracounseling.com. I will respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is not intended for children to use on their own. Services for anyone under 18 are arranged by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has given me information through this site, please contact me and I will delete it.
Security
I use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect information. No website is completely secure, so please avoid sending private health details through the website or regular email.
Changes to this policy
If I make changes, I will update this page and the effective date above.
