Try a tool

A small taste of what we use together

These are real samples from the private Manara portal that clients use between sessions. Tap any card to try one. Nothing you tap here is saved or sent.

Inside the portal

Names of Allah

A taste of the 99 Names

Inside the portal, we walk through all 99 Names in 16 short steps. We learn each Name, then play a memory round. Bigger boards open as we grow, and a gentle mode keeps the cards face up.

The lighthouse in the fog

Fog hides the light. It doesn’t put it out.

Slow repliesAn unanswered message feels like an ending.
A quiet moodHis silence feels like he’s pulling away.
Busy friends“She’s busy” turns into “She’s done with me.”
EndingsSmall goodbyes stir up old losses.
Being aloneEvenings alone feel unsafe.
After conflictOne argument feels like the end of everything.

Try this

  1. Name the fog: “This is the fear of being left.”
  2. Check the facts. What do we actually know right now?
  3. Soothe ourselves first: breathe, ground, and make du’a.
  4. Reach out once, kindly. Then we let it rest.

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ

Your Lord has not taken leave of you, nor has He detested you.

A map to follow

Is it a problem or a worry?

Is this something I can do something about?

Worry tries to solve problems that haven’t happened. Problem-solving works on problems that are here. This chart helps us tell them apart. It doesn’t diagnose.

اعْقِلْهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ

Tie it, and rely upon Allah.

The finish line that moves

Perfection keeps moving the finish line. “Done with care” is a line we can actually cross.

HomeIt isn’t clean until every corner is perfect.
WorshipRepeating until it feels “right.”
Work and studyStarting late because it has to be flawless.
MotherhoodEvery meal, outfit, and lesson must be ideal.
HostingGuests coming means days of stress.
RestRest is only allowed when everything is done.

Try this

  1. Name the moving line: “It has to be perfect before…”
  2. Set the finish line before we start. What does “good enough” look like?
  3. Stop when we reach it, even if we feel the pull to keep going.
  4. Notice what happens. Usually, nothing bad does.

سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا

Aim for what is right, and come close to it.

Two ways to see it

One drawing, two true views

Hang in there. It can take a minute to see. Tap between the two views a few times and let the cube shift.

Here we look down on the cube. We see its top, and it sits below us.

An everyday scene

A friend hasn’t replied all day.

First view: “She must be upset with me.” Is there a second true view?
