Meet Dr. Aisha
Dr. Aisha was born and raised in Florida. She reverted to Islam in February 2001 when she was a senior at the University of Central Florida. She studied bits and pieces of Islam trying to figure out how to right so many wrongs. After falling completely in love with Allah swt and Islam, she went on to study Islam in a formal six-year degree program, studying the Quran, Ahaadith, Arabic, Fiqh, and more. She found the Quran to be full of healing guidance that encourage us toward all that is good and beautiful. Accepting and learning to practice Islam was truly a turning point in life.
Dr. Aisha has completed the following degrees and education:
- ~Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Psy.D.)
- ~Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- ~Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology
- ~Six-Year Aalimiyyah (Aalimah/Islamic Studies) Degree

Training
Dr. Aisha Chaudhry is professionally trained in providing neural and trauma-informed care for those suffering from Anxiety, Depression, OCD, PTSD/Trauma, and other disorders. She uses integrated therapies in a gentle, collaborative manner.
Dr. Aisha Chaudhry is a female Muslim therapist, and she is a fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida and a fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas. Clients not in these states may be seen as coaching clients and/or for faith-based counseling and coaching.
Promoting Education
Dr. Aisha has been giving self-improvement talks and workshops to women across the globe for the past 20+ years. She has created a patented Islamic-Mindfulness Stress Reduction (I-MBSR) program, and taught dozens of workshops covering:

Cultural competency
Dr. Aisha has lived and traveled to a multitude of countries. She lived in Pakistan for two years, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for over ten years, and has visited several other countries and continents. She believes in hands-on, experiential learning to get to know different cultures and has benefited from learning beautiful and unique stories and journeys from all over the globe. Because of the dynamics of her professional training and travels, she is experienced in providing clinical care to over 15 different nationalities expanding to every continent! Completing her clinical training in a Joint Commissioned Hospital in the Middle East has helped to create cultural sensitivity and awareness. Dr. Aisha remains dedicated to continual growth and is committed to providing outreach, education, and therapy to Muslim women around the globe.
